Small 19th-century military post with reconstructed stockade, earthworks, interpretive museum and open lawns. Good for architectural details, period textures, intimate landscape frames and moody light at sunrise/sunset. Site is compact with on‑site parking; check state park hours and seasonal museum opening. Weekdays and golden hours offer best light and few visitors.
