Chestnut Ridge Garden

Best at golden hour or overcast mornings for even light. Easily reached by car; roadside parking nearby and no formal entry fee. Weekdays are quieter; expect blooms in spring–early summer and rich foliage in fall.
Children's Park
Small community park with a shaded playground, walking/biking trails, baseball and basketball courts, a central pond and a stream—good for seasonal shots (spring blossoms, fall foliage) and candid family photography. No entry fee; parking available at the roadside lot on Grotke Rd. Best visited at golden hour or weekday mornings for soft light and fewer people. Note: pond can be murky at times and poison ivy exists along some paths—stay on trails.
