Compact 40-acre arboretum with rare dawn redwoods, ponds, exotic gardens and woodland trails — ideal for intimate nature, tree portrait and reflection shots. No admission or parking fees; trails are easy and mostly accessible. Best light: golden hour at pond edges for reflections, soft overcast for saturated foliage. Visit spring for blooms, fall for color; summers have mosquitoes, weekdays/sunrise are quiet. Dog- and family-friendly; occasional weddings on the grounds.
