Wood County Museum
Historic county home and museum complex with a Greek Revival farmhouse, period outbuildings, formal gardens and rural grounds—great for architectural details, vintage interiors and seasonal landscapes. Best light is golden hour for façades and late-afternoon for garden textures. Parking is on-site; check seasonal opening hours and admission/tour rules. Interiors may have restricted tripods and low light; weekdays and museum events (living history) offer richer subject matter and fewer crowds.

Lover's Portage River Fishing Access
Small river access on the Portage River offering intimate waterscape and riverside compositions: reflective river stretches, reed-lined banks, anglers and rustic launch points. Best at golden hour or calm mornings for mirror reflections; spring and fall bring color and migrating birds.
