National Trust - Skernaghan Point

Rugged North Channel headland with dramatic coastal cliffs, rocky shorelines and wide seascapes — excellent for moody seascapes, long exposures and low-angle foreground compositions. Best at sunrise or sunset for warm side-light and backlit spray; stormy days add drama. Access via coastal footpaths from Larne; small National Trust parking nearby and no formal entry fee (NT members may have information boards). Terrain is uneven and exposed—waterproof footwear, windproof layers and tide awareness
