Possum Kingdom Stone Arch Bridge — photo spot in 9448 North State Highway 16, Graford, Texas 76449, United States

Possum Kingdom Stone Arch Bridge
Score8.8One of my favorite things about exploring Texas is finding places where history and scenery come together. The Possum Kingdom Stone Arch Bridge crosses the Brazos River just downstream from Morris Sheppard Dam. Built by the WPA between 1940 and 1942, the 433-foot bridge features 18 limestone arches and was engineered to handle major water releases from the dam. Still standing strong after more than 80 years. 🤠📸 #Landscape #Architecture #Historical
