Tyneham Village

Tyneham is a deserted WWII-era village on the Purbeck downs — evocative stone cottages, a ruined church, hedgerows and wide chalk landscapes with views to the Jurassic Coast. Photograph haunting interiors, weathered signage and sweeping panoramas. The site is MOD-owned and open seasonally (usually Easter–Oct; weekends and school holidays, longer in summer). Park at nearby Rangemore/Boundary car parks and walk in (short trails). Visit at golden hour or under dramatic skies for mood; check MOD/NT/
