Best visited spring–early summer for nesting activity, and at dawn or dusk for active flight and warm side/backlight. Paths and the hide are on flat ground; parking at Fosse Meadows car park (Roman Rd). No entry fee; respect quiet rules to avoid disturbing birds. Good year-round for reflections and reed silhouettes; bring insect protection in summer.
