Best at dawn/dusk for soft light and active wildlife; spring–summer for insects and nesting birds, autumn for reeds and colour. Free public access from Pound Hill; limited street or nearby car-park parking. Flat, mostly firm paths but can be muddy; bring boots and a tripod.
