Seasonal flooded washlands teeming with waders, wildfowl and raptors—great for close-up bird behavior, flight shots and reflective waterscape compositions. Best at dawn/dusk during migration (spring/ autumn) and winter for large flocks. Reserve has viewing hides and boardwalks; parking at Welches Dam/Manea. No general admission fee but check RSPB site for hide access and events. Expect wind and mud—waterproofs and wellies recommended.
