Nature reserve

Two Tree Island is a compact saltmarsh and mudflat reserve on the Thames estuary—excellent for birdlife, migrating waders, expansive skies and dramatic low-tide reflections. Photograph flocks, reedbed silhouettes, tidal channels and wide estuary vistas at sunrise or sunset. Access is on foot or by a small car park off Two Tree Lane; entry is free but paths can be muddy and exposed to wind. Visit at low tide for exposed mudflats and at spring/autumn migration for peak bird activity. Weekday dawns
