Historic 19th‑century harness racetrack with timber grandstand, infield paddocks and a small museum — ideal for action shots of Standardbreds, portraiture with tack and handlers, and Americana event scenes (Great American Weekend, July 4th, 'Junk in the Trunk' markets). Best on race days (weekends, summer) for dynamic scenes; early morning or golden hour provides soft light and fewer crowds. Small parking lot on Park Pl; expect ticketed entry for races and limited museum hours — check schedule.

Small, varied park with a reed-lined pond, open lawns, wooded paths and an active dog area—good for intimate nature, pond reflections and candid pet photography. Ample parking by the library; no entry fee. Best light: golden hours for warm reflections on the pond and backlit grasses; weekdays or early mornings for fewer people. Watch for dogs and occasional wildlife (deer, coyotes). Paths are easy but some shoreline has tall grass.
